PCO Leader Academy

PCO Leader Academy is an online leadership training platform for the pest control industry, a new venture Kevin Lemasters was launching with no existing brand, logo, or website. The site had to handle credibility and lead generation. Course delivery runs on a separate platform, so the site's only job was to convince people the academy was worth signing up for. Kevin came in with strong instincts on color and a rough logo concept of his own. I refined both, built out the full brand system around them (including business cards and supporting collateral), and designed and built the website end to end.

Kevin came in with a clear idea for the mark: an outline of a bug the industry deals with constantly, used as the central element of the logo. I refined that silhouette, picked typography that matched the feel he wanted, and built out the full lockup from there.

On color, Kevin already knew he wanted blue and black. I helped him dial in the specific shades so they'd hold up across print, screen, and embroidery without feeling like default corporate blue. The supporting fonts came out of the logo itself. Once the wordmark settled, I chose type that carried the same aesthetic and stayed readable across long-form content.

The whole brand had to communicate authority, professionalism, and leadership in a category where most competitors look like local exterminators. Someone landing on the site needed to read it as a serious training program at first glance.
